Sony Xperia Z is a smart, sleek Android-based phone which is capable to capture excelent photos and videos. It is very sleek about 7.9mm thin and black profile with reflective glass surface. Although sony is known for its quality, same here it is providing the same quality in this smart phone.

It's frame is made from fibreglass polyamide which providesit strength and long time durability and has tempered glass on the front and back. Moreover, both glasses are coated with anti-shatter film. Also Xperia Z is dust-resistant. It is water resistant abd it can be submerged in a metre of water for 30 minutes, and is also resistant to water jets. The phone has caps to seal all of its ports to prevent water from seeping inside. Xperia Z is so smart that if you leave a cap open, like the cap that covers the micro USB port, the phone will remind you to put the cap back in place.

The Sony Xperia Z has been one of the most popular phones this year. Its full HD display have propelled it up in the popularity charts. But soon users started reporting a weird bug in the phone, which would turn off the phone and only a hard reset would get it started again. Sony had promised an update to fix the issue, and the company has now started rolling out an update for the Xperia Z to fix the issue. There were also other bugs such as the non-functional LED notification light when the phone is in Stamina mode. Users are reporting on the XDA Developers thread that there are some performance improvements and minor bug fixes as well in the package

The build number is 10.1.A.1.434, but the Android version stays 4.1.2 Jelly Bean and the Kernel seems to be the same 3.4.0. version as well.
